Images of the Day: William Grant & Sons bring Scottish landscapes to life at Changi Airport : Moodie Davitt Report

Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Strange Nature Gin from New Zealand, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

SINGAPORE. Today’s choice of images comes from Lotte Duty Free at Singapore Changi Airport, as The Moodie Davitt Report Vice President Sales Sarah Genest travels back to the UK from last week’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference (click here for our on-location coverage).

As reported, William Grant & Sons launched an exclusive Changi 1st pop-up experience earlier this month to celebrate the global travel retail debut of Wildmoor Blended Scotch Whisky. The animation is running until 23 May.

The activation, located in Terminal 1 Departures, spotlights three blended Scotch whiskies: Wildmoor Waking Forest 23 Year Old, Wildmoor Tropical Coast 30 Year Old and Wildmoor Black Mountain 40 Year Old.

A floor-to-ceiling screen at the pop-up plays the campaign film on a loop, allowing passengers to learn more about the creation of these expressions.

Nosing jars invite travellers to experience the scents of the forest, coastal and mountain landscapes that inspired the Wildmoor 23, 30 and 40 Year Old expressions respectively.

This multisensory environment offers a biophilic escape through visuals, sounds and textures – ending with a tasting session and food-pairing experience at the bar. ✈
